Global insurance and asset management company seeks a responsible, organized, dynamic and team-oriented person.

This position is responsible for acting as the Systems Analyst & Development Tech Lead who will partner with Business, other IT teams and product vendor to lead implementation and continually improve Annuity and Life reinsurance solutions as well as the PAM solution.

This position will work with Application Support partners who provide first line of production support to drive solutions in a timely manner. Also work closely with teams to capture PAM PFI (Portfolio Account Management - PAM For Investments ) and reinsurance and integration needs while clarifying business and functional/non-functional requirements, lead integration development, support testing and creating application/system documentation of systems across the entire organization.

Primary Duties:

• Participates in or leads project planning sessions with clients, business analysts and software vendor to analyze business requirements, access feasibility of solution and document functional requirements and data mapping;
• Provides design recommendations as needed for projects and enhancements and defects. Will also maintain the integrations catalog where applicable;
• Work with Enterprise/Integration Architect and System Integration Development team to build broad knowledge of systems, increasing knowledge of the business within the larger organization and interrelationships in the business.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science;
• Strong technical background (5 – 10 years of IT expertise);
• Minimum of 3 years of experience web development in .NET Framework (nice to have);
• Experienced in Microsoft SQL Server, SQL, database programming, SSIS & SSRS serves is a plus;
• Experience with Waterfall and Scrum Agile methodologies and the creation/management of user stories.

Nice to have:

• EAI, ETL, Informatica, Workload Automation, or other integration experience at the enterprise level;
• Web-application servers (IIS);
• Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Amazon Web Services experience desired with Microsoft Azure experience.
