Descrição da vaga

Come work for a large global financial and insurance products company! This is your chance !!

Start a successful career in a renowned company in the international market! Great opportunity!

Global insurance and asset management company seeks a responsible, organized, dynamic and team-oriented person.

Responsabilidades e atribuições

This role consolidates two existing Cisco-focused network positions (Senior and Principal) into a single Infrastructure Engineer role covering network and telephony support.

The position owns Cisco infrastructure patching, daily incident management, change management and testing, AGCS coordination, and recurring AZL reporting, while also supporting legacy call recording platforms. It carries forward the remaining DC Exit project work through close (targeted September) and supports transition from Cisco to Content Guru.

As DC Exit concludes and the Content Guru migration progresses, the role is expected to right-size ongoing Cisco support in line with decreasing demand.

Business Context and Key Challenges:

  • Supports Cisco network and telephony infrastructure, including legacy call recording platforms, with coordination into AGCS and recurring AZL operational reporting;
  • First 3–6 months: close out remaining DC Exit deliverables (target completion September), maintain incident/patch cadence without disruption, and begin supporting the Cisco-to-Content Guru cutover for telephony;
  • Key priorities: DC Exit wind-down and clean handover, Cisco-to-Content Guru migration support, and progressively right-sizing the Cisco support model as legacy demand decreases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and coordinate Cisco infrastructure patching cycles across network and telephony platforms, minimizing service impact;
  • Manage and resolve daily incidents across Cisco network, telephony, and legacy call recording platforms within SLA;
  • Submit, test, and verify infrastructure and telephony changes through the change management process, confirming successful implementation;
  • Coordinate with AGCS on network and telephony support activities and recurring status/operational reporting;
  • Produce and maintain recurring AZL reporting on incident, change, and infrastructure health metrics;
  • Deliver remaining DC Exit project tasks through close, ensuring documented handover of migrated/decommissioned components;
  • Support the Cisco-to-Content Guru telephony transition, including maintenance verification and knowledge transfer for legacy call recording platforms;
  • Progressively scale down and document the Cisco support model (runbooks, lessons learned) as the platform is retired.

Requisitos e qualificações

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on Cisco network infrastructure engineering (routing, switching, patching) — senior-to-principal depth (7+ years);
  • Cisco telephony / legacy call recording platform experience, including change testing and maintenance verification;
  • ITIL-aligned incident and change management experience in a regulated enterprise environment;
  • Working knowledge of AGCS coordination and recurring operational/status reporting practices;
  • Fluent English, written and spoken: able to run stakeholder-facing calls and interview in English;
  • Experience working across international, multicultural teams and time zones;
  • Strong ownership and autonomy under incident pressure, with clear, structured stakeholder communication.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience migrating to or operating Content Guru or a comparable cloud telephony/CCaaS platform;
  • Experience in data center exit / infrastructure decommissioning programs;
  • Cisco certifications (CCNP/CCIE) or equivalent telephony/call-recording platform certifications;
  • Experience in insurance or other regulated, enterprise-scale environments.

 Experience Requirements:

  • 7+ years in network and telephony infrastructure engineering; scope should span senior through principal-level responsibility;
  • Open to Senior or Principal level depending on candidate depth — principal-level candidates should show independent ownership and informal technical mentoring;
  • Demonstrated delivery in enterprise-scale, regulated environments, ideally including migration or decommissioning programs.

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience;
  • Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE) preferred; telephony or call-recording platform certifications a plus.

 Working Model and Collaboration:

  • Main stakeholders: AGCS, Allianz Life (AZL), and internal ATA network/telephony teams across relevant time zones.
  • Flexibility expected for patch windows, major incidents, and DC Exit / Content Guru cutover milestones outside standard hours.
